Outdoor Activities
We have an extensive outside play area that includes several climbing structures and a large sandbox. Swings, trikes, wagons, water tables, and raised garden beds are also included in daily play. The children are able to take advantage of our "outdoor classroom" for at least half of the day, weather permitting.
Indoor Activities
Our indoor classroom space includes block building, a kitchen corner, and table activities (puzzles, pegs, Legos, Magna tiles, play dough, and art projects). Materials and projects are thoughtfully chosen to support children's hands-on learning.
We hold a group meeting time, which is an important part of the day. It is when the children gather to read books, share experiences, or talk about feelings.
